Dr Sivarajah Ilango
MBBS, FRACP Specialist Geriatrician and General Physician
Dr Ilango is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and consultant physician with dual training in geriatric medicine and general medicine.
Dr Ilango works in both public and private practice. He is a Staff Specialist at the Gold Coast Health Hospitals, Visiting Medical Officer at Mater Private Hospitals and a Senior lecturer with the Griffith University.
Dr Ilango’s professional areas of his interest include comprehensive geriatric assessment for health aging, cognitive assessment, orthogeriatric, falls and balance and managing polypharmacy.
In addition to English, he is also fluent in Tamil.
Dr Ilango is actively involved in teaching junior medical staff, nurses and medical students. He has presented at multiple forums and has also involved in research leading to publications in the field of geriatrics.
Dr Ilango will be consulting here the 1st Saturday of each month from 9 am – 1 pm.
